This page describes the storage technologies used by Lurkaia.
Visit measurement
Lurkaia loads Google Analytics to measure visits. Loading it currently does not depend on closing the information notice. Closing the notice neither disables measurement nor records a consent choice.
Measurement may use identifiers such as _ga and _ga_*; effective retention depends on the Analytics configuration and browser restrictions.
Information notice
The local-storage key lurkaia_privacy_notice_v2 records when the notice was closed. It prevents automatic redisplay for 365 days. The footer link reopens it. It does not contain the visitor’s name or email.
Games and local preferences
Games may store scores and progress on the device. Language navigation uses separate URLs. The current contact-form code does not require a PHP session.
Browser controls
You can inspect, delete or block storage in your browser settings. Google also provides information about measurement controls. Deleting the saved notice makes it appear again, but does not change how Analytics loads.
